National Minimum Wage Briefing- By Award Winning Wimbledon Accountants
National Minimum Wage Briefing- By Award Winning Wimbledon Accountants
Hello and Welcome
My name is Gordon D’Silva,
The Government’s new National Living Wage is now live and is effective from 1 April 2016.
This does not affect directors.
If you employ anyone aged 25 and over, was not in the first year of an apprenticeship, you are legally bound to pay a wage of at least £7.20 per hour.
That is an extra 50p for every hour.
This is set to rise to £9 per hour in coming years. Are you prepared?
Employers are required to pay their staff correctly, as the National Living Wage will be enforced with an iron fist, as is the National Minimum Wage.
The best way to handle this is to earn more money, sell more, make better margins, and better profits.
That is exactly how we help businesses.
Everything is going up, wages, costs, taxes …
If your sales are going up, annual profits are going up, by more than your costs… Then you should be okay.
If on the other hand your sales are struggling, margins are tight, and your profits are not rising at your desired rate, targeted action is required.
I know this may sound obvious, but often, the businesses I meet are already working way too hard, they have no spare time to work harder. Or no spare energy…
The good news is we have a plan. And you can begin the process, the proven and simple process that leads to higher sales, better margins, greater profits, and more cash.
To start, why not download our free Business Plan on a Page.
It is the first step to giving your business a boost in these areas.
And it only takes 30 minutes, or complete it over three sessions while you’re sitting your favourite beverage (I sound like Sheldon of Big Bang Theory).
