How do the changes to the Employers Allowance affect you?

How do the changes to the Employers Allowance affect you?

Hello and Welcome

My name is Gordon D’Silva,

Payroll employers allowances

The bad news
You may be aware that the £2,000 allowance on employer’s National Insurance has been removed for single director companies.
You will notice that the amounts payable when we submit your payroll may be higher than you expect, due to the removal of this allowance
There is also anti-avoidance provisions for husband-and-wife companies, who will lose out in the same way.
The good news
For all businesses that have other employees, the allowances now £3000 per year.
This will be applied to your payment requests when we send you the payslips. Keep an eye on the amount to pay.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
